Last month i came across a very handy Web Authoring Tool KompoZer. Thou it is never better than writing your own piece of code but it help a lot my writing all the html by it self leaving the user with only clicks and typing his Documents. It also supports CSS and has the Publishing option so that you can online your page from the software itself.
